26th October 2009.

Today we held our annual HALLOWEEN PARTY Witches & Ghouls were in attendance, Hot Pot & Apple Pie with soft drinks tea & coffee to finish off we all had a good fun afternoon as a special treat we cut the Boffs business in half everyone went home with a smile on there faces.

9th November 2009.

Thornton's Chocolates was our guest today Emma went down memory lane telling the history of Thornton's. The company was formed by William Thornton in 1911 they have gone from strength to strength over the years introducing new lines into there product range of Chocolate & Toffee .Emma gave us a quiz to do about her talk with a prize for the winner it was won by Pam, she also had a range of Thornton's goods for sale. A good enjoyable afternoon ended with our usual tea coffee and cake made by Meg, we are spoilt aren't we.
