Under 10's Play International
On Saturday 30th April our two under 10s teams came together to play their first 11-a-side game against a team from North Wales, Hawarden Rangers. They were visiting Preston to go to the National Football Museum and to watch the PNE vs Wigan Championship game, and had arranged to play one of our teams first.

The Captains exchange gifts
After the two captains had exchanged a commemorative pennant and a plaque, the game kicked off at 10am. The match was very evenly balanced with Gregson Lane starting well and scoring a goal. Hawarden then took control and equalised before half time. Play in the second half went from end to end and it was anybody's game. Hawarden were very unlucky when they hit the post and our under 10s 'keeper made some excellent saves. But finally a Gregson Lane breakaway resulted in the winning goal. A great contest, which no team deserved to lose.

Gregson Lane Team
Thank you to all the players and the supporters who made the game a great occasion and good luck to Hawarden in their league games next season.
