Presentation Evenings 2004

At the end of every season, the club invites all players and their families to a Presentation Evening. The event includes the presentation of trophies to all players who played in at least one competitive match this season. In addition, awards are made for Players' Player of the Year, Manager's Player of the Year, Most Improved Player, and Clubman of the Year in each team.

The annual Presentation Evening for the under 7 to under 10 teams was held on the 14th May 2004 at Bamber Bridge Catholic Club.

The evening went very well with about 200 people at the event. We must thank Shaun Davies, the under 10s manager, for his hard work in organising the event and to three of his parents who organised the raffle, which raised over £200. Thank you to all the people and local businesses who donated prizes.

The second Presentation Evening was held two weeks later at the London Road Labour Club and five more teams (U11s to U15s) received their trophies. Again, the evening went very well, over 200 attended and included a raffle, supper and disco. We must praise all the helpers (Peter, Frank, Ian & Steven) on the night and the players for their excellent behaviour. The raffle raised £190 and prizes were donated by some parents and collected by Paul and Howard of the under 14s. Thank you to them.

The season is now officially over, but training for next season will start soon, so there is not much of a break!
