Our Quiz Night ......Wednesday...

The Old Oak Inn has an excellent reputation in the Hoghton area for its good friendly quiz.

Starting 9.30pm (very roughly).
Hosted by Howard,Tony or Trevor


Our Quiz is interesting and varied.
The topics are very wide ranging and contain Howards infamous LINKS some more obscure than others.
Sandwiches are provided and delivered to you table whilst concentrating and contemplating.

There are prizes for the winners and runners up (8 pints and 4 pints) and the nearest score to the Lucky Number also wins 2 Pints.

Variable and cumulative cash prizes are offered for the purchaser of a ticket in a draw who answers one of four questions correctly.

It's Quiz Night
Each Wednesday Night at the Old Oak Inn
there is a Quiz for some team to win
Howard or Tony - the questions do ask
but to get the right answer is a formidable task

The first few are topical - easy you think
then comes the next batch combined with a link
In the Quiz we are now half way there
so the sheets are marked to see how we fare

Next comes the raffle with money to win
if you know the answer you're 100 quids in!!
During the interval to most teams delight
Sandwiches are brought round for your appetite

It's on with the Quiz - 20 questions to answer
the Claxton Gang lead with their Salsa dancer
Little and Large, the Cats Whiskers too
then the Old Codgers to name but a few

At the end of the Quiz you know your score
come back next week and suffer some more
Not forgetting of course the Lucky Number
Higher or Lower so go home and slumber
